GSP-Plus: GSP is a powerful antioxidant complex that combines water-soluble proanthocyanidins and oil-soluble tocopherols from Swiss grape seeds. Proanthocyanidins possess potent antioxidant properties and act as free radical scavengers. GSP has been proven to increase the skin's UV tolerance. Skin cells are protected from oxidative stress and free radicals are combatted. The complex prevents environmentally induced skin damage, calms stressed skin, and reduces UV-induced redness. Additionally, it has an anti-ageing effect: skin ageing is prevented by combating the glycation reaction.

Ectoin Hydro Complex Ectoin® is produced naturally by bacteria to protect themselves from extreme environmental conditions such as high or low temperatures, high salt concentrations, dehydration and UV radiation. This natural substance binds water and therefore offers excellent skincare properties:

• Cell protection: It stabilises the natural structure of biological macromolecules.
• Membrane stabilisation: It increases the fluidity of cell membranes and protects them.
• Hydration: As a water-binding substance, it helps to form a stable moisture layer.

We harness the unique properties of Ectoin® to provide extra care for facial skin. Ectoin® moisturises, reduces skin irritation and redness, minimises wrinkle formation, improves skin elasticity, and results in a radiant, smooth, and even complexion.

Cybright G: CyWhite is a natural extract from rainbow algae, which is hand-harvested in Brittany – in harmony with people and the ecosystem. The rainbow algae extract possesses highly effective, brightening properties. With regular use, Cybright G helps to improve the appearance of hyperpigmentation (so-called sun spots or melasma) and prevent the formation of pigment spots.

Celligent®: Celligent® is a multifunctional active ingredient complex that offers comprehensive protection and care for the skin. UV radiation can damage DNA, and thymine is destroyed through photodimerisation. Celligent® contains uridine monophosphates, which are a biochemical precursor to thymines. With the help of Celligent®, destroyed thymines can be repaired.
By protecting against UV damage, promoting cell repair, providing antioxidant protection, and supporting the skin barrier, Celligent® helps to keep skin healthy, radiant, and youthful.

Halorubin: Halorubin is a natural substance with a very high antioxidant effect. It is obtained from halobacteria, which live in extreme environments such as salt lakes and are exposed to intense UV radiation. UV light causes free radicals, which damage cells and lead to accelerated skin ageing. Halorubin scavenges these free radicals and, in combination with other high-quality ingredients, provides perfect all-round protection for the skin.

Halorubin in the formulations of our Ultrasun Face and Ultrasun Body Crème-Gels deployed.

Myralys: Myralys is derived from yellow gentian. Yellow gentian, or its root, is a plant rich in gentiopicroside (a molecule effective in skin rejuvenation). Myralys reduces the ageing of the skin matrix by strongly stimulating the synthesis of collagen I and protecting elastic fibres (elastin) from UV-induced degradation. It stimulates the skin's collagen and elastin production, thereby reducing wrinkles.
Myralys is particularly effective around the eyes: it rejuvenates the upper and lower eye contours, lifts drooping eyelids, and smooths and plumps the tear trough. Furthermore, its anti-oxidative and anti-inflammatory effects reduce dark circles and redness, as well as puffiness.

Myralys is an important ingredient in our formulation for the Ultrasun Eye Protection SPF30 Eye cream.

LIPEX PreAct™: Lipex PreAct™ is a natural, moisturising ingredient derived from non-GMO Swedish rapeseed. Lipex PreAct™ is inherently rich in antioxidant tocopherols and phytosterols. These properties help to prepare and protect (PRE) the skin from UV radiation and actively restore (ACT) impaired skin barrier function.
A healthy skin barrier keeps the skin supple and prevents potential skin irritations.

Lipex PreAct™ is used in our Ultrasun Baby Mineral SPF50 deployed.

Portulaca Oleracea Extrakt: Portulaca Oleracea is an extract from the purslane plant, which is known for its skin-soothing properties. This active ingredient is rich in antioxidants and omega-3 fatty acids; it helps to reduce inflammation and supports the repair of damaged skin. Portulaca Vita can also help to improve moisture retention in the skin.

Portulaca Oleracea Extract is used in our Ultrasun After Sun and Ultrasun After Laser one.
